Who these terms are with

This site is published by Sunset Atomic LLC ("we", "us"). "You" is whoever is using it. Questions about these terms go to admin@migr8suite.com.

Case-management software for immigration professionals. Not legal advice.

Nothing on this site is legal advice, and nothing you do here creates an attorney-client relationship with us. We are a software company. What someone may do on another person's behalf in an immigration matter is decided by their license, accreditation or state registration — never by our software.

A case status shown here is information about a case. It is not advice about what to do next.

The free case-status check

The status text comes from USCIS' own case-status service and is shown as USCIS writes it. We do not rewrite it.

USCIS is the source of truth, not this page. The service can be unavailable, slow, or behind what USCIS has actually recorded. Do not rely on this page for a filing deadline or for any decision that matters — confirm it with USCIS, or with the professional handling the case.

Look up only receipt numbers you are entitled to look up.

Fair use of a free service

The check is limited to 5 lookups a minute and 30 a day per IP address. Those limits exist because every lookup spends a share of a quota USCIS grants us, and a free service that anyone can automate would spend it all.

So: no scripted, bulk or automated querying; no calling the endpoint from another site or application; and no working around the limits. We may block traffic that does.

Acceptable use

• Do not use the site for anything unlawful, or to help anyone else do so.
• Do not probe, scan or try to breach the site's security, or interfere with its operation.
• Do not impersonate anyone, or misrepresent your relationship to a case.
• Do not resell access to the free check, or present it as your own service.
• Do not scrape or copy the site's content wholesale.

Availability, and "as is"

The site and the free check are provided as they are, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. We do not promise that the site will be available, or that what it shows is current, complete or accurate.

What belongs to whom

The text, design, and code of this site are ours. USCIS' case-status text belongs to USCIS and is shown here for your information. You may quote a reasonable amount of this site with attribution; you may not copy it wholesale or pass it off as yours.

If you send us a suggestion about the product, we may use it without owing you anything for it.

The early-access list, and prices

Giving us your email address puts you on a list. It is not a purchase, it commits you to nothing, and it commits us to nothing.

Prices shown on this site describe what we intend to charge. They become binding only in a written agreement signed by both of us.

The Migr8Suite application

The application you log in to is a separate product, sold under its own written agreement. These terms cover this website only. Where they and a signed customer agreement disagree, the customer agreement wins.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from reliance on a case status shown here, or from the site being unavailable.

Changes to these terms

We may change these terms. When we do, we change the date at the top of the page, and the changed terms apply to use of the site after that date.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute about them belongs in the state or federal courts sitting in Miami-Dade County, Florida.
